bride
I accompanied a friend to a wedding last Saturday afternoon. Bringing a camera, though I knew not a person there. From a few rows back I took 5 or 6 photographs of the bride and groom. barn flag
Last week I had a calendar entry goof-up, and arrived a day early for an assignment in the area of Fresno, CA. Rather than hang around Fresno, I thought I'd take a quick drive to Yosemite.
Along side highway 41 I saw this barn painted as the U.S. flag. Patriotism on the well traveled road to Yosemite. I know I'm not the only one intrigued, and perhaps photograph this same point of view. A student at Western Kentucky University School of Photojournalism drove up moments after me.

I have been to Yosemite many times so because of limited time, rather than going to the valley, I decided to take in the awe-inspiring view from Glacier Point.
When I arrived I found people just like me, camera in hand, except for the guy texting. I didn't text, but did make a call to my son to tell him of the amazing, crystal clear view.
