compassion

compassion

15 October 2011 was the Global Day of Action. According to the Los Angeles Times, though mostly peaceful, several hundred protesters were arrested in U.S. cities.

In Rome protesters demonstrated with a bit more emotion, smashing windows, torching vehicles. In Los Angeles the "99%" march, and gathering in front of City Hall was without incident. A mixture of peace and love, anti-war, anti-banks, anti-wall street, anti-corporate power. Generally an expression of being totally ripped-off by the super wealthy 1%.
